Why Capitalize Elder?
The Reconstituting Aging: Elderly or Elder Webinar
Capitalizing "Elder" does more than change a letter; it raises the idea from "just an older person" to a position of actual importance. It’s not about age, it’s now about wisdom, purpose, and leadership.
Capitalizing “Elder” signals that the time has come for Western cultures to embrace the values and wisdom of “Elder.” It's about “Elders” being recognized as essential, prudent, and wise collaborative figures, in meetings where the future is decided.
For our webinar, "Reconstituting Aging: Elderly or Elder," we’ve gathered a dynamic group of panelists. Some have spent decades helping others shift from simply aging to fully embracing Elderhood. Others are living the “Elder” experience, and as a writer and poet, can share its profound impact on life. Another panelist is transitioning from a successful career in business training, development, and coaching to being an “Elder” and teaching and building community as an Elder for Elders. Each panelist will challenge the usual view of aging and shed light on the transformative power of Elderhood.
We will feature one panelist per week until the event on September 11th.
Reconstituting Aging: Elderly or Elder: September 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. PST, 2:00 p.m. EST, and 7:00 p.m. GMT.
