Thank those who have acknowledged this piece on "listening." I'll add two koans to keep in front of you this week to reflect on your listening. 1) Listening determines the speaking, not the other way around. "Speaking is the listening spoken." 2) "Listening reveals who you are being in the moment." See what happens to who you are, your relationships, the outcomes of your conversations, when you know that how you are listening is determining their speaking?

So much wisdom here, Marc. The real rules of the road for Elders and the challenge to integrate widely. This change will be incremental, not sudden. But I see progress - seeds sown that will flourish down the road.
