Unless a Benefactor comes along, I plan to hold the global conference virtually. The majority of our target market does not have a corporate expense account for travel and accommodations. But they do have the know-how and experience of participating in online events. I am sure there are outsourcing companies that host, manage, etc., online programs. But yes, it would be great to have 1,000 Elders in one large ballroom at a great hotel, with breakout rooms and astounding keynote speakers. It will just be virtual.

Love this one, Marc. Regarding the gathering, a lot depends upon the size and scope of the gathering. For large numbers, you need someplace affordable and easy to get to. For smaller, it can be more upscale. Check out Ratna Ling Buddhist retreat center in Jenner, CA. https://ratnaling.org
